Working in health settings with people from a CALD background

Pre-requisite: Cultural Awareness Training, Torture and Trauma Awareness or Culturally Sensitive Communication.

The ‘Working in health settings with people from a CALD background’ training module covers the following topics:

  • Access and equity
  • Key issues and considerations when working with people from a CALD background
  • Effective approaches to practice
  • Practical guides and resources available for health services
  • Further online PD and resources for mental health, primary health, community health, family health, residential settings and tertiary health settings

This is a module for anyone working in a health setting.

Cost

Half day training (up to 4 hours on the same day) is $120 (full fee) or $100 (concession)

Full day training (up to 8 hours on the same day) is $220 (full fee) or $180 (concession)
